Grazie alla Rati e a Dacia Duster Free Forum, Isabella ha beneficiato di un bracciolo in omaggio per fare una recensione del prodotto.

Ecco la sua recensione.
A seguito della partecipazione e successiva vincita di un concorso organizzato dal gruppo Facebook “Dacia Duster Free Forum” e sponsorizzato dalla ditta RATI, mi è arrivato a casa il bracciolo poggiabraccio da montare fisso sul sedile della Duster.
L’imballo si presenta solido e ben protetto sia all’esterno che all’interno, dove i singoli pezzi sono imballati e separati singolarmente.
Aprendo la scatola ci si accorge subito che non sono presenti istruzioni cartacee ma un QR-code che rimanda al sito web con le istruzioni a video. Dall’imballo efficiente ma minimale e la mancanza di istruzioni cartacee, si deduce una politica di risparmio nell’impatto ambientale della ditta produttrice.
Le istruzioni molto chiare e l’installazione semplice, permettono il montaggio da parte di chiunque.

Thanks to the participation and subsequent winning of a lottery organized by the Facebook group “Dacia Duster Free Forum” and sponsored by the company RATI, the armrest to be fixed to the seat of the Duster arrived at home.
The packaging is solid and well protected both outside and inside, where the individual pieces are packed and separated individually.
Opening the box, you immediately realize that there are no paper instructions but a QR-code that corresponds to the web-site with the instructions on the screen. From the efficient but minimal packaging and the lack of paper instructions, you can understand the saving policy with respect to the environmental impact of the manufacturer.
The very clear instructions and simple installation allow assembly by anyone.
Sganciando i lacci che tengono in tensione la fodera del sedile e aprendo le cerniere, si arriva direttamente alla struttura metallica del sedile stesso.

By releasing the laces that hold the seat cover in tension and opening the zips, you can directly get access to the metal structure of the seat itself.

Spostando la gommapiuma laterale che lo riveste, si ha facile accesso ai fori per la predisposizione del bracciolo.
By shifting the side foam-rubber that covers it, you have easy access to the prearranged holes for the armrest.
Fissata la piastra di sostegno, attraverso l’ancoraggio con 4 viti, alla struttura metallica del sedile già predisposto con fori di fissaggio, si procede facendo un taglio alla gommapiuma nella zona già segnalata in corrispondenza del passaggio della vite di fissaggio poggiabraccio-piastra.
In seguito bisogna procedere con il rifissaggio della fodera del sedile e del tessuto con i lacci per permettere la tensione.
Ora si procede tagliando la fodera del sedile in corrispondenza del foro fatto precedentemente sulla gommapiuma.
A questo punto si inserisce il bracciolo incastonandolo nella scanalatura e si avvita con la vite passante.
Once you have fixed the support plate, by means of the fixing with 4 screws, to the metal structure already prearranged with holes, you can proceed by making a cut in the foam-rubber in the already indicated area in correspondence with the passage of the armrest-plate fixing screw.

Then it is necessary to proceed with the re-fastening of the seat cover and of the fabric with the laces to allow tensioning.

Now proceed by cutting the seat cover in correspondence with the previously made hole in the foam rubber.

At this point the armrest is inserted by setting it in the groove and screwing it with the through screw.
Usando il coperchio in dotazione, si copre poi la zona di fissaggio e il montaggio è completo.
All’interno del comodissimo e morbido bracciolo, si trovano delle “pinzette” alle quali si possono agganciare delle biro, e delle scanalature dove si possono mettere delle monete e/o gettoni per i carrelli. Idea utile e geniale quella di mettere già un gettone come regalo.

Il poggiabraccio può essere regolato in altezza mediante inclinazione, può anche essere tutto alzato se non se ne vuole usufruire.
In ogni caso, durante la guida, risulta molto comodo e per nulla di impaccio, né per i cambi di marcia né per il freno a mano.
In definitiva, ottimo accessorio sia a livello funzionale che di estetica.

In any case, while driving, it is very comfortable and not at all hindering, neither for gear changes nor for the handbrake.
Definitively, an excellent accessory both with respect to functionality and with respect to aesthetic level.
